There is ample space in the park and large groups are sub-divided into smaller groups for more personalised instruction by our experienced team of instructors. We split into less than ten persons per group with ample social distancening between participants. Outdoors, fresh air and deep, long, slow breathing is ideal for the relaxed and natural flow of energy in these unsusual times.

WHAT TO BRING:
Loose clothing, something to drink and warm clothes (if cold weather).
We also train in light rain under cover of some very big trees.
If inclement weather class will be cancelled via sms and an extra morning class will be added at the end of the term. Alternatively you may attend either a Saturday or Tuesday morning class.

Please Note:-
Non attendance to any class (Unless cancelled by an instructor is counted as one class).
Paid Vouchers must be used during the term period - (each class is one paid lesson).

If a class is missed it can be made up by attending any of the other weekly classes.

Taiji classes and training help you develop bodily harmony and bodily coordination.

Taiji has developed over centuries, using slow soft and gentle movements co-ordinated by the body-mind and breath.
Tendons, muscles, sinews and bones are strengthened by continuous circular movements.

RELAXATION

Muscles are taught to contract and release and return to a neutral stretching position.

Internal and external senses and sensors are trained at different stages of a student's development.

The feet are rooted in the ground and the waist is used ahead of the body to twist, turn and spiral energy which, in turn, circulates around the internal body, assisting bone and internal organ health.

MOVEMENT

most people are able to learn the gentle movements of taiji exercises as well as the short 37-move Yang style short form. taiji heals the infirm, strengthens the weak, and encourages bone, muscle, ligament and tendon recovery by reducing the chance of injury.
